I’m Devyn O’Donnell, a photographer, graphic designer, and social media creative based in Rhode Island. I specialize in sports photography, events, and portraits, capturing moments with emotion, detail, and intention. In addition to photography, I design impactful visuals ranging from sports graphics and custom logos to promotional posters and athletic banners. I also create engaging social media content that keeps accounts active, cohesive, and visually strong, all while staying true to the identity and energy of the teams and individuals I work with.
Meet Devyn:
I discovered my passion for photography in 6th grade through my middle school yearbook, starting out by taking photos on my iPhone before receiving my first camera that Christmas. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something more, launching my own website sophomore year and working closely with teams and groups across RI. Outside of photography, I love traveling and live music, both of which inspire the energy and creativity I bring into my work. The most rewarding part of what I do is capturing meaningful moments that last far beyond the day they happen.
Creative Experience:
During my time at Cranston High School West, I grew my passion for photography, design, and visual storytelling through our Honors Graphic Communications, media, and yearbook programs. I took on leadership roles in all three programs, managed my school’s wrestling team and lead their media and socials, and had the opportunity to photograph everything from theater and sports, to wrestling at the national level and my school’s marching band at Walt Disney World.
I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences that shaped me and excited to carry them into my next chapter. I’m now a Sports Media major at Oklahoma State University and a member of the OSU Athletics Creative Team! Go Pokes!
